The Transportation Disadvantaged Coordinating Board (TDCB) coordinates the transportation needs of the physically challenged and economically disadvantaged. Composed of representatives from local governments and transportation providers, the primary responsibility of TDCB is to evaluate the service provided by the local Community Transportation Coordinator for the Sumter County area.  TDCB reviews both price and service levels, safety concerns, eligibility and other pertinent issues.  The board assists in identifying local service needs and providing information, advice and direction to the Community Transportation Coordinator on the coordination of services for the transportation disadvantaged.
