The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for this project was held on October 26, 2010 at 3:30 pm.

The Sumter County Board of County Commissioners contracted with Steven Counts, Inc., (SCI) for the construction of a turn lane on Buena Vista Boulevard at C-466. The total cost of the project was $96,108.98. Project commenced on August 31, 2010, utilizing Sumter County gas tax revenues. The Engineer of record is Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc.

The project consisted of adding a 12’ south bound to west bound turn lane on Buena Vista Boulevard at C-466 E.  The contract included curbing, realignment of irrigation system, reshaping of back slope, sodding and thermoplastic striping.
