Impact Fees
Fire Impact Fees (Rate Study in Progress)
- Rates and Payment - Fees are based on use, location, and size (square footage) of the structures. Impact fee estimations can be obtained by contacting the Impact and Assessments Department or Development Review. Fee amounts are estimations, and exact cost can not be given until the building permit is issued.
- Funding Provided For - Ordinances 2005-28 and 2005-29 were adopted in October 2005, and authorized the collection of Fire Impact Fees on all new construction. Funds collected shall be used solely for the purpose of providing growth-necessitated capital improvements to the Fire Rescue System.
Road Impact Fees (NEW RATES - effective 10/14/09)

Fee amounts are estimations, and exact cost can not be given until the building permit is issued.
- Funding Provided For - Ordinances 2009-14 was adopted in July 2009 and authorized the collection of Road Impact Fees on all new construction. Funds collected shall be used solely for the purpose of providing growth-necessitated road improvements.
